A locally advanced lung origin progressive neuroendocrine tumor (LALONE) is a rare type of cancer that starts in the lungs and spreads to other parts of the body. LALONE tumors are usually more aggressive than other kinds of lung cancer and can be more difficult to treat.

Unfortunately, LALONE is difficult to treat and is usually associated with a poor prognosis. However, with appropriate treatment and support, some people with this type of tumor may live longer and have a good quality of life.
