  • Take part in relaxation activities. Try some breathing exercises, mindfulness practices, or guided imagery to help manage your stress.
  • Make healthy lifestyle choices. Eating a healthy diet that includes plenty of fruits and vegetables, limiting your consumption of red and processed meats, and avoiding smoking can help support your overall health.
  • Seek out support. Talking to family or friends, joining a support group of cancer survivors, and/or attending counseling can help you cope with your diagnosis.
