Abnormal Uterine Bleeding

Abnormal uterine bleeding is any type of abnormal bleeding that comes from the uterus. It is also known as dysfunctional uterine bleeding. Abnormal uterine bleeding is the most common gynecological problem that affects women of childbearing age. The cause of abnormal uterine bleeding can be due to a variety of factors including, hormonal imbalances, infection, fibroids, polyps, endometriosis, miscarriage, or a side effect of medications.
