Uses

Dismonal 60 mg Tablet is indicated in- Irritable Bowel Syndrome Bowel movement disturbances caused by small sacs or pouches in the wall of the gut (diverticular disease) Abdominal pain associated with menstrual periods (Primary dysmenorrhea) Relief of other conditions associated with spasm of involuntary muscle

Dosage

Adult: Orally: 60-120 mg 1-3 times daily.

Precaution

Avoid Dismonal 60 mg Tablet in patients with intestinal obstruction or paralytic ileus.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding use

Although no teratogenic effects have been reported, use during pregnancy or lactation is not recommended as evidence of safety in preclinical studies are limited.

Contraindication

Paralytic ileus or known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

Special Warning

Children under 12 years: Not recommended

Acute Overdose

Can produce hypotension and atropine like-toxic effects. Management for overdose is as like as atropine poisoning with continuation of supportive therapy for hypotension.
