Vitamin A plays an essential role in the function of retina and is essential for growh and differentiation of epithelial tissue.

Vitamin B: Plays a role in the synthesis and maintenance of coenzyme A.

Necessary for lipid metabolism, carbohydrate metabolism, tissue respiration, glycogenolysis, inhibition of very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL) synthesis. May increaase chylomicron triglyceride removal from plasma. Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin): Required for the maintenance of normal erthropoiesis, nucleprotein and myelin synthesis, cell reproduction and normal growth; intrinsic factor, a glycoprotein secreted by the gastric mucosa, is required for active absorption of Vitamin B12 from the Gl tract. Necessary for normal tissue respiration; plays a role in activation of pyridoxine and conversion of tryptophan to niacin.

Vitamin E is an antioxidant which preserves essential cellular constituents.

Vitamin C: Necessary for collagen formation and tissue repair; plays a role in oxidation/reduction reactions as well as other metabolic pathways including synthesis of catecholamines, carnitine, and steroids; also plays a role in conversion of folic acid to folinic acid.

Vitamin D3 is a fat-soluble sterol. It is necessary for the regulation and regulation of calcium and phosphate homoeostasis and bone mineralisation. Vitamin D is also essential for healthy bones as it aids in Calcium absorption from the Gl tract. In addition to this it stimulates bone formation. Clinical studies also show that Calcium and Vitamin D has synergistic effects on bone growth as well as in Osteoporosis and fracture prevention.

Each 5 ml syrup contains:

  • Ascorbic Acid: 17.5 mg
  • Cod Liver Oil: 100 mg
  • Nicotinamide: 9 mg
  • Pyridoxine Hydrochloride: 0.35 mg
  • Riboflavin: 0.85 mg
  • Vitamin A: 2000 IU
  • Vitamin B1: 0.7 mg
  • Vitamin D3: 200 IU
  • Vitamin E: 1.5 mg

Each capsule or tablet contains:

  • Ascorbic Acid: 75 mg
  • Calcium Pantothenate: 5 mg
  • Cyanocobalamin: 2 mcg
  • Nicotinamide: 13 mg
  • Pyridoxine Hydrochloride: 1 mg
  • Riboflavin: 10 mg
  • Vitamin A: 5000 IU
  • Vitamin B1: 1.5 mg
  • Vitamin D: 400 IU
  • Vitamin E: 5 IU

Side Effects

Generally well tolerated.

Precaution

Should not use in over dosage. Patients with mild to moderate renal failure. Diabetes, patients prone to recurrent renal calculi.

Pregnancy Category- Not Classified. FDA has not yet classified the drug into a specified pregnancy category.

Contraindication

Patients with a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
